Imagine a church where you walk in and are greeted by a welcoming smile and a warm handshake or hug. If you have children, you can rest assured that they will have a fun and safe place to grow in their faith. As you make your way to the sanctuary, you find a comfortable seat and settle in. You enjoy the music prior to the service as you prepare for worship. Maybe you just take a breather and begin to relax after a hectic week. The service begins.

There is a positive feel to the worship. The music is upbeat. The prayers are encouraging. The message is inspiring, challenging, and relevant to your life. Afterwards, you enjoy coffee and fellowship with others who are on a similar journey of discovering the joy of life found in the living God. As you head home, you notice something about your church experience. You feel tremendously better than when you arrived! You have just experienced Pilgrim.

Perhaps your past experience of church has been something like mine--all too often negative, irrelevant, and downright boring. Sadly, far too many churches fail to connect with people today. They fail to meet our deepest desires, and because of that fail to connect us with the life transforming power of God's love.

Our hope at Pilgrim is that you will experience a different kind of church.

Whether you encounter it through the vibrancy of a traditional or contemporary worship service, an engaging fellowship group like our Christian Meditation sessions, or in a mission activity where you experience the joy of being for those in need, Pilgrim's message is a positive one through and through.
