David Auten grew up in Windsor, Connecticut. He earned his BA in Christian
Thought from the University of Hartford and his Masters from the Yale Divinity School.
After teaching as Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies and Philosophy at Sacred Heart
University and as the Director of Christian Education at the North Guilford Congregational
Church, David moved to minister in Albuquerque, New Mexico before finally coming to Pilgrim
in December, 2006. His vision is to blend fun and faith, practicality and religious passion
in making Christ ’s church all that it can be. David enjoys practicing the martial arts,
reading, and spending time with his wife Erin and two children, Isabella and Joshua.

Jim Moore grew up with a musical family in Arlington, MA, singing and playing piano early,
even accompanying his class in 3rd Grade.. He graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Math
and an unintended Music major. Jim and his wife June have two sons, Matt and Ben who have blessed
them with 5 grandchildren. Somewhere into his 40-year career as a Computer Engineer, Jim found God's
calling to be a Church Musician at a Choir Camp; he was charged to help others worship the Lord
through his gift of Music and Eccumenical Faith. Now retired, Jim enjoys many styles of Piano, Organ
and Vocal music in ensembles while teaching and accompanying. He enjoys sports, gardening, cooking,
and helping at the Book Shop.
